Custom Cutting
Kobuk Valley Jade Company has a variety of water cooled and oil lubricated diamond tipped lapidary saws that can accommodate most applications for large and small cutting of lapidary stones. Slabs for tabletops, serving platters, or tiles for accent pieces in showers or backsplashes in kitchens are available. Our turbo diamond wet wheels can shape and sculpt to meet many needs for facing and edging. We employ a variety of techniques that allow us to create specialized shapes out of our jade—such as the outline of the State of Alaska which makes an impressive statement in one’s home.
Small Boring
Our water injected drill press can penetrate borings up to a few inches with material thicknesses varying in depth of penetration depending upon the boring sizes.
Polishing
We can polish small and large items with our Vibro-Sonic tumbler and tabletop grinding and buffing equipment. Many projects start on wet diamond grit wheels and progress to dry diamond infused polish belts and buffers, generally up to 14,000 grit or smaller if required. Finished products have a permanent polish—no waxing in the future required.
Luminaire flat lenses

Shipping
We can ship our products or gifts purchased in our store to your home easily using the United States Parcel Service’s flat rate boxes. For items that won’t fit in a flat rate box, we can work with you to determine the best way to ship it to you whether you are in the United States or living abroad. Postage rates, once determined and approved by the customer, are added to the cost of your purchase.
